When you are working out, make sure to do a mix of cardio and weights. The best form of cardio for melting belly fat is high interval intensity training, otherwise known at HIIT training. During HIIT training, you will warm up for 5 minutes as normal, and then instead of continuing at a stead state cardio, you will go for 30 seconds at 80-90% of your maximum, and then take 30 seconds to a minute rest and repeat for 20 minutes (or however long you have to exercise). Follow with a 5 minute cool down. Adding HIIT training to your workouts will make your time exercising super efficient and you’ll see faster results.
The foods you eat have a HUGE impact on your belly. You’ve heard it before, achieving your desired body is 80% diet, 20% exercise. Diet is KEY to achieving a flat belly. The next steps are specifically for your diet. Follow these steps and you’ll reduce bloat.

Avoid foods that will make you gassy. No brainer, right? This includes broccoli, beans, foods that are very high in fiber (especially those with added fiber), carbonated drinks or artificial sweeteners. They will make your belly swell!
Eat small, frequent meals. Smaller meals eaten every two to three hours will take up less space in your stomach, keeping you fueled and feeling full.
