Vitamins and Supplements are essential for our overall health. Vitamins are essential for both the creation of new cells and the maintenance of existing cells. Vitamin A is the most commonly consumed Vitamin in the United States. The largest amounts of Vitamin A are found in eggs, liver and milk. 

A vitamin is an organic single-celled molecule that is essential for the body’s normal metabolism. Vitamins can’t be made in the body so they must be taken from the food we eat.

Synthetic Vitamin E, for example, does not bind to cholesterol so it is not recommended for those who have to manage their cholesterol. It is also not a good idea for pregnant women to take vitamins D, E, and K in order to increase their chances of having a baby. A well-balanced, high-quality diet rich in vitamins is the best way to ensure your body gets all the nutrients and vitamins it needs.
